Does anyone have the lyrics for I Will? My sister recommended that I dance with my brother (father passed away 2 yrs ago) to this song and since my father was a HUGE Beatles fan it would act as a song for me and my brother but also honor my dad. Thanks!

Personally for me...
Yes.

My brother and I are VERY close. We've been through living hell together and really didnt bicker like normal siblings but instead spent a lot of our younger childhood leaning on eachother, raising eachother. I care very much for him.

I think people don't sit and listen to every word and say 'OOOH incest' I think it's a lovely song, especially since they know you'll be dancing with your brother and in essense your father both at the same time.

You guys are great for all these suggestions! I asked my mom what she thought and she was upset I wasnt going to dance to Daddy's Little Girl... it means alot to her so I am going to think about it. My mom and dad's first date was the Beatles concert at Shea Stadium and their wedding song was, well I dont know the title but it goes: 'There were bells on the hill, but I never heard them ringing...' OH the title is 'Til there was you'.

Xelindrya will know which song I am talking about.

My boss is a huge Beatles fan so I went into his office to see if he had any music with him and he did. He played I Will for me and not only did I remember that I've heard the song many times, I almost started crying. I decided that I have to have that song now. Thanks Xelindrya!

My dad hates dancing because he is horrible at it and I should add we arent the closest father and daughter in the world. Since I said I was engaged he has been nicer to me but I am not the typical daddys little girl at all. He said he doesnt care which song. I have a while to decide, maybe he will tell my mom the truth.

Sorry to hear you guys arent extra close.
My dad loves to dance. He's the only man (yes ONLY) I know how to dance with.

So for Jim & I.... I was thinking perhaps we can have the DJ start the song and speak over the intro by introducing us and that will eat up some time and then we'll start to dance and NOT actually dance to the end .. have the Dj say something like 'Veronica & Jim chose not to end this dance because like their life, their dance has only just begun' then invite others to join us to finish up the song. Cause..it's ME who doesnt like to Dance. I feel all awkward and stuff.
