I never learned to cook. We eat out 95% of the time.
Any other couples not cook?

I don't really cook, but I've lived at home with my mom for most of my life (other than college and part of law school). Now that I'm about to get married I've been watching ALOT of the Food Network. My FH cooks a little more than I do. Hopefully we won't starve once we move in together.

Dont feel bad. Im 28 and the only reason I dont still like with my mom is b/c she moved to FL 6 mo ago. She always cooked and was a great cook. I never cooked a damn thing. Since she's left I've stepped up to plate. In the beginning its tough...the whole timing thing and all...but it gets much easier. You dont have to start with crazy meals. I still dont. Keep it simple. I BTW - I bought a great cook book in Costco, I think its Test cookers or something. Highly recommend it!

I NEVER cook, but then again my FH owns a Pizzeria/Restaurant so hopefully he can teach me a thing or 2.

I don't cook ...because I can't cook! My FH is the chef in our soon to be family... I let him pick out all the culinary stuff for our registry, so he can cook for us forever!!!

well i dont cook for him. (esp. now that he moved to LI) im a big fish eater esp. since im on a strict calorie diet and he hates fish, he hates white sauces. he's very picky. i got him started on lean cuisines/smart ones (to slim down) so when i make like salmon or something, he just pops one of those in the microwave. :-/ when we eat bad, we cook together haha.

I don't cook but it's mainly because I still live at home and every time I attempt to get close to the stove my sister and my mother 'shoo' me away and take over.
The part that bothers me the most is that my family still picks on me cause I'm not the 'cooker' of the family.
I'm actually looking forward to having a place of my own with FH so I can finally start teaching myself a thing or two, though FH is going to be the test subject. . .

me? we dont live together, YET but...i dont know how to cook, but i sure as hell know how to eat ...
my mother is a phenomenal cook, i guess ill be learning from her!! shes on my case and so is FH

I do not cook at all. Either DH cooks or we eat out. I want to learn how to cook though. I think I might go to cooking classes. I really do want to learn!

i dont cook bc my mom is like the world's best cook lol so i never really had a need to . . . but when i actually set my mind to it it usually comes out great. . . the only problems is that FH loves 'american' food like pot roasts and beef stew etc - i am learning all the italian foods from my mom
but i recently learned how to make pot roast and chili so i am getting there - i plan on cooking most nights once we are married, but i like to cook huge portions so there are leftovers!

dont feel bad - FH and I rent a house in Florida and whenever we go there she jokes that i talk to her more while i am there than when i am at home bc i call her every single night from the grocery store and then again when i am actually cooking to make sure i am doing it right

I cant and dont know how to cook. FH and I are moving in together on Jan 31 and he stated that i have to start cooking. He said if it taste nasty or if i burn it he will eat anyway bc i tried.

I really don't cook and either does FH. We eat out or cook really easy things like big salads, pasta or chili. I made meat loaf once and it came out great...I'm glad FH didnt think that cooking thing was going to turn into a habit or something though

Ohhh - that would be me - me - I don't cook! DH is the chef - but lately we have been too busy to cook/eat anything... once we move, I want to learn to cook a bit more... I feel as a mom-to-be I should learn to be a little more domestic....

I don't cook very much and I don't have much interest in cooking. I can make a few very simple things and that's it. Once in a while I'll experiment with something different. My FH likes to cook more than I do. We eat out a lot too.
