I always thought is was weird when pple asked where I met my Fh and i told them that we met online. First I didnt want to share with pple but now-a-days many pple meet on the internet. Its great to have the World Wide Web

FH and I met online!! He lived in Ohio at the time...we were long distance for a little over a year, then he moved here!

I met my FH on match.com. I recommend it to people I wasn't one for so many emails back and forth, if I liked the profile and thought the guy was cute I wanted to meet for a short date. So the internet with us seems wasn't a long term communication.

kinda funny story--
FSIL and her husband met on AOL FBIL and his gf met on Plenty of fish my sister and her husband met on Match
me and FH met at bar-- but he told me a year before we met he went to do eharmany- he filled out all the questions and they responded with something like
Sorry there are no matches for you on this website

I didnt meet my FH online but we met because of online. His best friend met one of my friends through Myspace, and they started talking and his friend made fh come with him to a party my sorority had , and i meet him there.

FH & I met on plenty of fish. It's actually kind of funny because we both had signed up for match.com and other dating sites in the past and nothing worked out for either of us. Plenty of fish was something I just sort of did for fun because it was free. Go figure... after about a year of both of us paying for sites like match.com we meet on a FREE dating website!!!
I guess what they say is true.. the best things in life are free!

What's funny is that my mom met her FH on match.com and my dad met his long time girlfriend on match.com as well.
We're a match.com family. I keep thinking that match should pay us a lot of money for this story.
