My dentist in Manhattan is actually doing it for me- you don't have to be an orthodontist to do invisalign, it can be a dentist that has done the training.
check out the website for a listing of dentists and orthodontisis that do it click for invisalign
I can't wait!

Cannot sleep so I am here! I would like to loose a few pounds 10-15 - the only problem is that I like to eat junk food! I probably will also get my teeth whitened. I had braces twice so don't want them again, but got a new retainer. I have a gym membership but probably won't start until august - a year before.

I'd like to tone up and get some definition altho I'm already pretty slim. I'm working on keeping my skin and nails looking nice. Gonna prob use those whitening strips when we get closer too. My FI wants me to try using something different in my hair to make it shinier. Meanwhile he's trying to lose weight and quit smoking, neither of which is easy for him.

FH has one that he wants removed too. How quick is it? Does insurance cover it? Please FM me!!
As far as what I'm doing -- I've been working out and eating right (at least -- during the week I am!! LOL)
I want to tone up and lose some weight. Not necessarily for the wedding, though. I feel much better when I exercise. I also want to whiten my teeth.

i want to get lasik eye surgery, and i was going to bleach my teeth, but i'm not sure yet. I work for a dentist and can probably get it free, but I'm afraid of all the side effects later on in life.

Besides continuing to workout regularly and maybe start up w/ my trainer again, I plan to do nothing. (Maybe teeth whitening but I dont wanna end up like Ross on Friends- haha)

I would like to get my teeth professionally whitened but i am afraid of how sensitive it makes your teeth. i know from using the strips.

Re: any changes to yourself b4 weddings?
I am allowing my hair to grow. Along the way, I am increasing the highlights in my hair to become more of a strawberry blonde.
I looked into widening my palate to make my smile wider. My teeth are straight but I have a narrow bite. I would first have to get a palate expander. I would then have to get braces. After the braces, I would need to get my teeth whitened and the porcelain veneers I had done 20 years ago replaced to matched my new whitened teeth as you cannot whiten veneers. Fortunately, I am related to my dentist and she wouldn't charge me for the orthodontics, but only for the veneers. The whole process would take over 2 years. My wedding is in February and I don't want braces on my teeth for pictures. If need be, I can make my teeth white in picture editing.
