Because of the economy you can def haggle with most places....something i learned is always say you're going to have fewer guests....because my first mistake was when i walked into my first RH and told them 2-300 they immediately said 175 gurantee....other place i said 150-175 ...then they were about 125 for the guarantee... so you should say less.

really?? I have a MILLION questions.. lol
have u had ur food tasting? which ballroom did u choose? what do u like about it, besides the outside (thats my fave part) and any other info will be great..
1. Yes I had a food tasting and it was amazing! I went with FH, FMIL, my dad and step-mom.
2. I chose the Davinci Room because I love the size and we have big families so I didn't want to be limited. but i also wanted the Europa for cocktail with the outside, and the only way i can have both is a twilight on a sunday! So i chose the holiday weekend in january (Martin Luther King day).
3. I love that during cocktail I can have a pianist rotating while playing piano. I love that the cocktail hour is large enough that everyone can have a seat. I love that they throw in a free hotel night for each bride and groom. I love that there is a hotel right next door for my OOT guests. I love that it's near parkways so ppl traveling far can get there easily. I absolutely love the feeling you get when you walk into the venue! The staircase, the elegant decorations. I love that they give the guests 6 options for dinner!!! 6!! So everyone will be delighted. I love that they have a photo studio room so we can take photos of the bridal party.
Theres more---let me know if you have any more specific questions.

....wait a minuteeeeeee lol so during cocktail hour you get a pianist? and it rotates?
and they gave you a free hotel night???
i dont remember the pianist during cocktail hr..i saw the piano but didnt know about the performance. So everyyy wedding they have someone perform??
and i didnt know about the hotel, im guessing it's not for every bride and groom? this is honestly my first time hearing about it
and i already booked with them. did they tell you all of this before you booked? or did they add it in after?
i didddd have a food tasting though the FH and I fell in loveeeee with the desserts and coffee-station and setup for guests. Everyone was so nice and we didnt feel rushed at all. They actually made it really romantic =) the total process i would say took 3 hours (seriously) but i felt so much better about the hall and the food (since we're non-pork eaters especially)

FH and I was just there last night and we loved it too. We worked with Victoria and I thought she was a DOLL.
We were thinking of June 2012 and the prices were very reasonable. You get a lot for your money BUT this was the 1st RH we looked at so I don't have anything to compare them to right now.
We are looking at The Royalton tomorrow then Larkfield Manor on Tuesday night.
I also liked that you have 6 choices to choose from, they seat your vendors outside of your RH room which I really like. I've been to weddings where the vendors were just sitting at a table looking bored! The only thing FH and I didn't look at was the ceremony room indoors.
I like the decor and each room by next year will have uplighting and new chairs. The smaller room already has the new gold chairs but the other room is getting them she said.
They own Fox Hollow and Fox Hollow Inn so Victoria said they offer a shuttle to take your guest to and from the hotel which I loved.
