any creative placecard ideas for a spring wedding

Help....I am trying to figure out a DIY for placecards. I went to michaels and staples, but the place cards they had seem to show the preforation and the ones from the RH seem to advertise the RH more than the guest and table number.

Help please

thanks

This may not be what you were asking for but I
thought this was so cute for a spring wedding

P.S I think staples/office depot has diy placecards that fold too.

One of my friends had mini glass vases with a few flowers in them. There was a tag tied around the vase with your name and table number. Very pretty!

Maybe those little personalized floral seed packets?

I would suggest buying packages of blank (without a boarder) place cards, packages of 50 sold at Party City for $2.99.

Then go to Michaels and buy a really fun spring type stamp, some ink pads in a color that fits with your wedding, some jazzy sparkly embossing powder and a heat gun.

Then place stamp in ink and then onto place card, sprinkle powder and then use the heat gun and then you will have a really nice looking place card.

I did this for my 'winter' wedding and used snowflake stamps, I had 3 stamps and did a combination of them to make them look different.

It sounds hard but was really really simple and fun and I got a lot of compliments on them.

Good luck! HTH.
