NEW Any Crest Hollow 2013 brides ? about cake

Have a few questions for you:
-what did your cake look like that was included in the price? Do you know what bakery it was from? Did you get to taste it?

I believe the house cake vendor is Dortoni bakery, which is an excellent place. A 'base' cake is included in the price but I think if you want any extras (e.g., a square cake vs. round cake), you have to pay extra. Don't quote me on that I'm purely going off memory.

I honestly don't have pics just yet. I have ideas of what I want my cake to look like, but I haven't committed anything to paper. Have you looked at Dortoni's website? They have pics of cakes they've done in the past - maybe that will give you some inspiration.

My sis got married here last August. They give you a really antique looking cake with the squiggly lines. She begged them to give her a plain cake and her florist decorated it nicely. It did not taste so great tho, but at that point it was too expensive to get the cake elsewhere so she worked with it. If youre not big on the cake, its not the end of the world. I have a pic, but I dont see an option to attach it. I can email it to you.

I was married here November 4, 2011 - I did not upgrade my cake at all.

Here is a pic of it. Just asked my florist to put the flowers and cake topper on it.

also it was brought in from Dortoni. we went to dortoni about 3 months before the wedding and did a 'tasting' of the flavors we could choose form. call them up and tell them crest hollow said you should go there to taste the cakes it was fun!
