What's up with Ethan Rom!?!?!

Ethan I think is a ghost.

And I have a question about the pregant girl. If the pyschic knew she was going to be in a plane crash, why did he send her? What was soooo bad about the baby being adopted? It wasn't like it was only one couple adopting. He said anyone but her raising her baby would be bad. Bad enough that he'd choose a plane crash and deprivation of water and food just for her only to raise the baby? I'm confused about that.

well I think he saw the plane crash and knew she would survive it and be able to raise the baby on her own this show is so tough to figure out

He sent her on the plane because he knew what was going to happen. He was very adamant that she alone had to raise the child, and apparently, this was his solution.

I do admit .. for a moment .. I did think maybe the guy was trying to pull a scam on her .. when he was telling her about the flight and the 'other' couple .. but then clicked that he really knew .. and he absolutely DID NOT want anyone else raising her child.

Someone told me that Ethan Rom (who by the way is Tom Cruise's cousin in real life) is an anagram for 'other man' which could mean he is supernatural.

I think he could be the son that the French woman was looking for 'Alex'.

I'm so freaking obsessed with this show!!

Anyone else notice that this whole good and evil, dark and light theme keeps showing up? The backgammon set, the white and black stones on the skeltons, Locke's eyes in Claire's dream? Hmmm....
