Hi, I'm getting married at the East Wind in May. I have some questions about where E.W brides get ready (make up, hair, dress). We are staying at the E.W the entire weekend. So we will all be getting ready at the hotel. I know we will have a bridal suite but we are sharing that with the groom and ushers.....
I know I'm rambling. Just confused where E.W brides get their hair and make up done-when they are not using the vendors the EW suggests????

Re: Any East Wind Brides?
There is a spa and salon at East wind but it may be pricey. You can also try the Pavlova salon in Wading River. It's only like 2 minutes from East Wind and they are great there. Feel free to FM me if you have more questions.

Re: Any East Wind Brides?
Thank you. I think I found someone for my hair and make up (that is willing to come to me). I'm just confused where E.W brides get ready. Is there a place for the make up and hair stylists to take the EW brides on premises? I just feel that my hotel room (at the E.W) will be too small for the hair and make up teams to take care of 10 girls!
Was hoping someone who has been married at the EW or has a planned wedding there, can tell me where and what they did. Thanks.

Re: Any East Wind Brides?
I got married at East Wind. The Northampton ball room. We stayed there our wedding night. As far as sharing a bridal suite yes, we shared it with the guys durning the cocktail hours. We took pictures on the stairs. My guest stayed in Riverhead at the Best Western. If you want to get ready in the suite I don't know if they allow you enough time for that. Maybe freshening up. You could get ready in your comp room. FM any questions.

I'm getting married at the Estate on a Friday night and was told I could go into the Bridal Suite at the Estate at any time. However, I plan on booking a hotel room for the night before so I assumed I would most likley get ready there.

Re: Any East Wind Brides?
Thanks for all of your ideas. If I was using the house vendors for make-up and hair, I would be allowed to get ready in their spa. But,I tried the make-up vendor (that the spa uses) and was not happy with it. I'm very natural and after explaining that to her, she made me look like a CLOWN! I plan on setting up a hair trial with the vendor the spa uses... If that goes well, maybe they will let me use their spa to get ready.
I'm just worried about how much room we will have. I can't have 10 girls in my room getting ready at the same time. I have 6 BM's, FMIL, Mom, grandmothers, etc... Everyone wants to get their make up done. I fear that it will be way too cramped in there!
The things I worry about! lol
