Re: Any El Caribe Brides?

First of all, the hall is amazing! There were over 300 people at this wedding and not once did I feel crammed in at all. There was plenty of space in all of the rooms.

Cocktail Hour
The CH room is huge. There were a lot of seats but of course not enough for 300ppl so many wound up standing. The room had food everywhere you looked and everything was delicious. So many options to choose from. There was only one bar so at times the line did get long. The service was very friendly and professional. At every station the servers would say hello to you and ask how you were. I was just blown away by how friendly everyone was.

Reception
I absolutely loved the reception room. The minute we sat down our waiter asked if we needed/wanted everything. There was a salad course, pasta course, intermezzo & main course. EVERYTHING was delicious. I wish I didn't dance as much so I could eat the food instead...lol. There were about 8/9 (too many to count) entrees to choose from on the menu & my FI and I both had the filet mignon. The steak was cooked exactly how we requested it and was very tender. A short while after, the bride/groom cut the cake and it was served immediately after. I'm not sure if they make their cakes on premises but the cake was delicious & beautiful (6 tiers)! After cake they brought out their VH tables & there were millions of options to choose from - Candied Apples, Cotton Candy, Pretzels, Churros, Zeppoles, Fresh filled Cannolis, Bananas Flambe and even breakfast.

Whoever is getting married at El Caribe is in GREAT hands. You honestly have nothing to worry about.

FH had me hysterical at one point. My friend's other sister is getting married there next year (a month after our wedding). FH goes 'I hope we're invited to the other sister's wedding here next year b/c this place is GREAT!'

The one thing however, is because they do more than one event (2 at a time I believe), we ran into the other party as we were waiting for our car outside. Because both parties ended at the same time, there was a bit of a wait for the car. It wasn't that big of a deal, but it's something I'd like to avoid if at all possible.

Let me know if you want to see pictures, etc. I'd be happy to send!

You're so welcome. You're in great hands - it really was one of the best weddings we've been to. I can only hope mine is as good this one was.

Here's the direct link to all of the pictures I posted on FB. If you can't see it, let me know b/c my albums are usually private and I'll make it public so you can view it.

Thanks, it was awesome. I still can't believe your friends had their E-Party there. I was thinking about that when I was at the wedding the other night - they're really going to have to have something incredible for their wedding in order to top this.
