Just wondering. I don't think my uncle will come in from California, my step grandmother from Florida, and a few others. Are we the only ones?
ETA: 2 of my good friends are going to be on their honeymoons

Definitely not! Most of mine are witht he exception of an uncle from FL- I think that is it- but FH has tons of family in HI (uincluding his parents) most are not coming with the exception of 3, I think...

Most of my family either lives in TX, NM or Mexico so other than immediate family and some aunts and uncles the rest aren't coming. Like another bride said mine side will be bare

I can make you feel better.... my dad told fh that he might not be coming!!! He also wont give me a list from his side of the family so I dont know if my aunt and uncle on his side will come... or my own cousins!!

my godmother, her husband and thier two kids (who live on Long Island) didn't come...mainly because she is a biatch. Darren's grandfather didn't make it because he drank too much at the RD and slipped in the middle of the night cracking his head on his night table and going to the ER for stiches.
Other than that I think all close family memebers came.

Several of my family members are boycotting for religious reasons. It doesn't bother me one bit. We agree to disagree silently. No conflicts.

The way I looked at it...as long as I was fairly close to my minimum I was good. I thought to myself who cares about hitting it, if I am a little short I will ask them to throw something in. I was under my minimum and I did get something extra.

A LOT of my family members aren't coming... and we are NOT happy.
my stepaunt and family step uncle and family 6 out of 10 of my cousins FH's grandparents MAY NOT (very sore subject) Fh's only 2 cousins aren't 1 aunt, 2 uncles

Lots of my family won't be coming (didn't get their responses yet but I basically know they won't) - they're from out of state and won't travel I'm sure.
Cousin and wife from Georgia Cousin and husband from North Carolina Cousin and husband from CA Cousin from upstate (he doesn't speak to the family anymore) One of FH's cousins might have to work and he has four or five that are out of state and might not come.
Don't worry - I think it's typical.

Let's see.... NOT inviting any paternal family members except my dad and he 'doesn't know if he can make it.' OK what kind of dad says that.
I really don't know about my family in Philadelphia. They will all be invited and it's really just a 2&1/2 hour trip but I don't know how many cousins or 'distant' type relatives will make.
I will try not to have hurt feelings and keep that attitude that the people who care and support us will be there.
Just hope we make our minimum.

I haven't sent out invites yet, but I already know of one person who will no be making it: My Mother- I haven't spoken to her since I am 16 and I am 23 now. I have never had a close relationship with her. She just decided one day not to call my brother or I anymore and we haven't spoken since. So needless to say she is not invited and will not be coming of her whole side of the family.
