We're considering Celebrity for a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon. I'm going to check out Cruise Critic for their reviews, but I'm interested in what you girls have to say.
Most importantly: how is the food?

Re: Any feedback on Celebrity Cruise Lines?
We've been on their ships twice. I loved both trips. DH and I thought the food was great. The martini bars were so much fun! However, so that you get an honest review I will tell you that my Mom said she didn't love anything about that Celebrity trip we went on. She did not love the food. She thought that the food on Royal Carribean was better. My only complaint about Celebrity was that their photos do not come out as good as Royal Carribean.

I really like Celebrity. I have been on maybe 4 cruises with them and thought the service was very good. I thougth that the staff was always trying to be helpful and the waiters and assistant waiters really aim to please. And the food was great!
I can only compare to Norwegian, which just wasn't for me.

Re: Any feedback on Celebrity Cruise Lines?
I have been on Royal Carribean and Celebrity cruises. I think the food was better on Celebrity! The speciality resturants on RC was as good as the regular dining room on Celebrity! I went on the Millenium for a 10 day cruise in the Southern Carrbean. It was wonderful... there was always something to do and the staff was great! I am already telling FH that after the honeymoon trip I want to do another cruise!!! Have a great trip!

Re: Any feedback on Celebrity Cruise Lines?
Jackie, we are looking at the Millennium for a 14 night cruise (or the Galaxy for a ten night Med. cruise) - can you either post or FM me some specifics, please?
Were there a lot of activities onboard? Were there mostly older guests onboard, or was it a nice mix?
TIA!

Re: Any feedback on Celebrity Cruise Lines?
If I remember correctly the Galaxy is a smaller boat in their fleet. The Millenium started in 2000. We went in August a few summers ago so there we alot of families but it was a good mix. I am not sure how the mix of people would be in Europe. The shows were good we saw them mostly before dinner because we had the later dinner time. Which I recommend that way you can spend time at the ports without having to rush back for dinner. We did excursions at each port because we found that if we didn't plan something we ended up just walking around in a tourist trap area. We had a stateroom with a window... which I recommend for the small upcharge. My aunt was on the same trip and she had a large balcony on the back of the ship... SHE LOVED THAT!!! The indoor pool area is lovely... it is part of the spa and no kids are allowed... I spent many hours there! Wow this is really making me want to plan another trip!!! Let me know if you have anyother questions! Also here is a link to a cruise ship review site that I always find useful. Just remember some people are uptight and will complain about nothing!
We were on Millenium and loved the ship. They have a fantastic collection of art all around the ship so we got some of the best pics ever because there were so many great places for us to take pictures. The martini bar is fun and the entertainment was great. There was an acapela (sp?) group that was out of this world. We went to a comedy show that was terrific and they always do a deck party for one night out of the cruise in the carribean that has drinks in pineapples. I second the recommendation that you get an outside cabin. It doesn't have to be a fancy cabin, but definitely an outside stateroom rather than an inside.
