Any FH's into ham radio? Groom's Cake?

FH is really big into the ham radio network here in LI. He has a ham radio license and listens to all the broadcasts and goes to ham radio operator meetings, etc.

I was thinking of getting him the Groom's cake but with a ham radio picture on it, or some type of ham radio design on it...Problem is the ones I found on the internet are kinda lame! Does anyone know any wedding cake vendor that could custom design a really good groom's cake? Is there any bakery out there that is like 'Cake Boss' but charges less than the guy on that show?

Baked to Perfection in Port Washington is great! They did all the cakes in my albums (my wedding cake, groom's cake, my shower cake and my sister's shower).

The cakes were as delicious as they were beautiful! And the owner is willing to work with your budget. MIL paid for the groom's cake and he did everything he could to convince her to go with less expensive options. She wound up going with the most expensive one, but that was her choice.

My sister's shower cake was $6 per slice. The groom's cake was $8 per slice because it was a sculpted cake.

Thanks, I will def check them out..Just ran a general google search and a bunch of negative reviews came up though ..but I will def drop by them to sample their selections and see how it goes!!

I'm not aware of any negative reviews of them. My experience has only been positive. I even get all of my holiday cakes from them!

The owner is 1 of the top 10 pastry chefs in the country, so you should enjoy sampling the goodies there! The chocolate mousse is out of this world!
