any friday evening brides?

any friday evening brides?

Well I would really base it on do you think more people would come to your wedding on a Fri or a Sat? If you think more people will come on the Saturday it is worth the 2,000 and if more people would come on a Friday then save the 2,000!

i definitely think Saturday would increase the turnout. We have many people traveling to the wedding. Additionally, what I'm concerned about in regards to Friday is that 3 of my bridesmaids work in schools. Also, 2 of FH's groomsmen's wives work in schools. I'm concerned that they might not necessarily be able to take the day off, etc. which would pose a big problem!

I think if you give the teachers enough warning they will be able to take off. I have quite a few teachers in my bridal party (male and female) and they all said it was no problem to take off.

the three in my bridal party aren't teachers. they are speech pathologist, school psychologist, and school social worker ... so i'm not sure it's as easier for them to take off, since they are most likely the only ones responsible for certain groups of children.

but, either way I know $2K is a lot of money, but I can't convince myself it's significant enough to not go with saturday, which is what I've always wanted...

Fridays are not just good for the Venue, but for many of the other vendors, as well. Many vendors are open to giving a slight discount for Friday weddings are there tends to be less demand. Just ask if their is a discount for a Friday wedding.

My wedding is on a Friday, but it starts at 8:15pm so guest can still go to work and come after. We did because it'd be cheaper and with it being on a Friday we get to enjoy the whole weekend celebrating with family and friends.
