Hello everyone! I'm new here to LI Weddings. My FI and I really don't want to have such an expensive wedding. Since our budget is tight, I'm asking if anyone could please help us with any recommendations for photographers that are not in the 1K and above price range. The lowest I've seen so far is a package around $680 or so. That seems pretty reasonable to me but my FI would like to see if we can get something lower than that. So PLEASE if anyone could give us any quotes of places that you've been to or if anyone you know does photography in that price range, it would be much appreciated.
And please - no posts criticizing our budget. Thank you!

I would say check out complete wedding packages in east meadow and maybe the wedding center in Commack. And don't worry about judgemental posts, that's what I love about this website.. Everyone has different budgets and different tastes and it's such a great resource! Good luck!

There's actually wedding center in Commack and Robles studio in Brentwood. They seem to have afforable pricing.
And don't worry about judgmental comments, everyone's different and we are all here to help!!

My friend knows the owner of Complete Wedding packages! I haven't met with her yet, but am going too and she does gorgeous work for VERY affordable prices! She will also build packages around most budgets.

I'm actually using Complete wedding Packages in East Meadow. Amanda is one of the owners and she's great! If you don't like their packages, you can build your own. We are using them for photo, video and DJ.

@Ellinator: Omg! I totally forgot about groupon for a second. But wow, really?? I just looked but I only saw something that said $549 for $999 worth of wedding photography. Is that what you saw or was it something else?

Thank you! I will definitely get in contact with them. They seem to be highly recommended. And wow, you're so lucky that your friend knows the owner! That probably means an even more affordable price for you. Hopefully when I speak with her, her prices can come down to even my low range. Well see... :)
