I've gone a little kiss happy at past company holiday parties. it was fun until i had to face everyone the next day, and have hershey's kisses delivered to my cube!!! ![]()

Well, no stories here, but at Fh's job, they claim that the reason spouses are no longer allowed to come is that in the past too many people left with other people's spouses! ![]()

I remember my first holiday party at my present company. My bosses wife (who also works here) got a little bombed, jumped into the arms of another co-worker (who was equally bombed) straddled him and they were jirrating all over the dancefloor. You could hear crickets chirping at our table!!!![]()

My first xmas party ever out of college i went to and drank a lot, then took the train home and met up a guy i was dating back then at a local bar...stayed out till 4am and thought i was going to work. needless to say i did not set up my alarm clock and woke up to the phone ringing at 10am from work wondering where i was. I could not lie and told them i was 'sick'. I was so mortified because i was told not to drink too much and i didn't at the party, most of them thought i was just sick from the drinking at the party..if they only knew......never did that again!!!!![]()
After i went back i was made fun of for another two years......but did not get in trouble....oh the memories.

My DW told me that her old firm actually had their parties on Thrusday night and they took attendance to see if the people who attended would be in on Friday.

sounds like your DW and I both used to work at the same firm! LOL
my old firm always had them Thurs nights for the same reason. Let me just say that 1/2 the place called out sick b/c they got so drunk the night b/f
I have my own horror stories about company parties gone by, but I'll refrain

I work at a newspaper and many people have to go into work after the Christmas party (which is always a Sunday from like 2-6pm) A couple of years ago, a friend of mine drank way too much and then went in to work. She got sick right at her desk, or should I say on it. ![]()

One of my co-workers literally passed out from drinking too much.
He passed out while we were getting ready to leave. He was standing up and all of a sudden... TIMBER! He started to fall back... luckily somebody (a big guy) was able to catch him while he was falling so he didn't get hurt.![]()

OK here's mine:
got myself stupid drunk on apple martini's at my old firm's holiday party ... to this day I do not recall ONE THING past the time I fell off my chair in the outside room of the hotel where we were hanging out at the party. My friends were awesome. They called the conceirge to carry me (yes, CARRY ME) into the ladies room (![]()
) and then one of the coolest attorneys (who they could trust) carried me out to a car waiting to take us home.
I was out cold.
Definitely NOT a good idea to get totally falling down drunk at an OFFICE party.. Though thank GOD I didn't do anything really stupid, and my truly wonderful former co-workers protected me from any of my bosses finding out

I wrote my number in really big handwriting on this 18 year old's hand who worked for a different office within our company. I was 24!! Someone took a picture of my number on his hand and I was teased mercilessly!!
I was also doing shots with one of the VP's who was in his late 50's!
