Any good ideas for 'Take Me Home' outfits??

DH and I want to buy the outfit for our Peanut, but I haven't been able to find anything neutral!!!

Why am I having so much trouble finding something?

I really want it to be special and *keepsakey*, yet inexpensive.

If only I could sew... AHAHAHA!!

JennRenee... I'm just 30 weeks, but, I truly feel like I'm going to go early! (Hopefully, not before 37 )! Peanut just *feels* big. It really has gone fast!! Just 7 more weeks of work for me!! YAY!!!!

I'm hesitant to buy something non-neutral b/c we want to use it for Peanut #2 (God willing) and #3, if we hit lotto... HEHE

Is this overkill?? LOL I don't think I *need* the blanket or wrap... I'm having a July baby (or June) Not to mention, that *toy* bunny kinda scares me...

Maybe I'll just get the gown, cap & booties!! It's adorable!!

Buy Buy Baby has a really cute one piece 'Going Home' outfit. Their on-line site $ucks so it is not there but it comes in white, yellow, blue and pink. It has cute little teddy bear feet and the words Going Home.

Kathi, the baby may be a tad bit too warm in the entire thing. I have heard that women tend to over dress the babies, thinking they are colder than the average person is. I guess you could get outfits 1 boy, 1 girl and return the one you don't use.

Some advice from a BTDT Mommy - get a very small outfit that does NOT have to slip over the baby's head! You will be so nervous and new at this, you will be thankful for side-snap clothing (and that includes T-shirts!!)

BTDT - been there done that. Claud that is exactly what my GF said you will come to love and aprreciate snap and velcro and zippers.

not knowing what we were having, we bought Justin home in a white DKNY baby outfit. Altjough it was sswimming on him b/c he was sooo tiny (5lbs)

I brought Luke home in a John Lennon print yellow footed pjs and a yellow Gap sweater and a yellow cap. He never wore the yellow cap & sweater agin though b/c it didn't look boyish to me but he looked so adorable coming home in it. When I see it now, I can't believe the cuffs were turned up and everything then.

We brought Patrick home in a green outfit. We didn't know what we were having so we went the Irish route!!

Babies R' Us have a bunch of different outfits in White in the very front of the store.
