Any good rehersal dinner places - Glen Cove or Roslyn? *NM*

We are doing our Pre-Wedding Dinner at L'Endroit on Glen Cove Road in Roslyn. They have a private room upstairs. We also looked at Il Sappore on Willis in Roslyn Heights, The Ruby Room on Willis Ave., Stresa in Syosset and the Roslyn Claremont Hotel. Let me know if you have ??'s Good Luck.

Thanks for the help Lauren. I am totally not familiar with the area (I'm from E. Suffolk) and my wedding is in Sea Cliff. I was wondering if you'd mind telling me about the quote you got from Il Sappore and also about what kind of restaurants the Ruby Room and Stresa are? My email address is [email protected]. I would love to have it at Il Sappore if it isn't too expensive - My grandparents used to take me there when I was a kid.

Il Sappore was very reasonable. They had 3 different packages ranging from $28 - $45. The will fax you the packages. The food there is really good. We aren't using them only because we thought that the room was a little too small for us. We have a lot of out of town family so we are inviting 70+). Stresa is also Italian and their food is very good also. Their price was around $60 p.p. I have never eaten at the Ruby Room, but it is in a little quaint house. They don't have a set party menu, the owner will work with your budget. We didn't use them because their max capacity was 55-60. Good Luck!

RUVO RESTAURANT

Ruvo is an italian restuarant on Broadway in Greenlawn. My brother is having his baby's christening party there and the food and atmosphere are great and they are reasonably priced as well. May be a bit of a drive from Roslyn but thought you could always check it out if you couldn't find anything else. Hope this helps!
