any good stores in manhattan for hair clips?

besides the department stores I mean...

I'm looking for pretty clips with crystals and such - thanks!

there's a place on 6th ave and about 35 or 36th st called grace. they have a lot of stuff in there

try nelson d'leon's studio. i've seen some of his hair pins online and they're very pretty!!

There's a whole bunch of stores on 6th Ave., between 34th and 38th St. that sell accessories like hair clips, pins, earrings, etc. A lot of the pieces I've seen there for $10, I've seen in wedding salons for $25 or more. However, some stores will only sell in wholesale bunches, but others can sell retail as well, so just be sure to ask.

Thanks everyone! Seems like 6th Ave in the mid-thirties is the place to be for hair clips! Works out well, because I'm going shopping for shoes in that general vicinity Sunday anyway!

There are a whole bunch of little stores along 6th avenue in the lower 30's that carry beautiful, inexpensive hair jewelry. I went to some stores this afternoon, but didn't get anything, since I don't know how I'll have my hair done that day.
