Hi!!! I am a Hamlet Willow Creek bride!!! There are a few of us on here (although I think I am the first one here to get married there-this June).... Congrats on booking!!! Isn't Barbara wonderful? I get so excited when our group gets bigger

shes the best- she read my mind. besides the place being gorgeous- i think i would die if she left. she really knows her stuff! Did you have any problems booking vendors with such a brand new location? also - out of curiousity how many tables did u have to buy centerpieces for?

Barbara is so great! I have so much confidence in her and I am sure our wedding will be amazing! We didn't have any problems with vendors booking a new location...a lot of them had heard about it and those who hadn't seemed excited to come somewhere new. We booked our florist but haven't finalized the centerpieces yet...so I am not sure how many we need quite yet-we are waiting until we are able to see just how big the tables are etc. We will need at least 20- maybe more- pretty big guest list. How many are you inviting?

I booked there too!! I cannot wait until it is complete. As far as centerpieces I know that they have different sized tables, I will probably need the one that holds 10-12 b/c I too have a big guest list. I know that they can only hold I think it is 220 and I will be pushing that. I cannot wait to see the inside of the place and how I want to decorate it. I love how the outside is looking, the course, the bridge and all over. It is going to be so great. I am hoping that they are a little flexible as far as the menu goes and I am going to be getting my cake from a different place outside and not using rolling pin. We all have to discuss how we are going to set everything up. I am getting really excited.

Congrats - my FI & I really wanted to book there, but they were completely booked for the dates we wanted. It seems as if it is going to be a GORGEOUS place!! Good luck to you all.

I am so siked. I wonder how Rolling Pin will be for the cakes. I was told I can bring in whatever picture I want and they will basically re-create it, however I want to make sure it tastes good. My Mom suggested we go and buy some cakes there to see the quality, etc.
Anyway I am so excited! April 22 06 cant come soon enough!

Rolling Pin is located right near me... they have yummy cakes. It is a rather small bakery, but they run 24 hours a day there... They actually do the cakes for a large number of reception halls on the island!!

I am a Hamlet Willow Creek Bride and I am so excited to see there are so many of us! The wedding is October 8, '05 but I am planning it from Virginia (where I live now - I am originally from L.I.). I am so glad to hear it is coming along. It is hard b/c I can't see the progress since I am far away. Keep me posted on how it looks and I can't wait to hear a review from the 1st wedding there.

These are photos as of Nov. I have more recent ones but haven't downloaded them yet. I went by right after Christmas and you can pull right up to the building. They must have been working on the interior because there was so much drywall outside. I can't believe their progress.... I just can't wait to go inside.
I will post more pics as I get them so you can see the progress.
Did you also know they have a chocolate fountain now
Me and my FH booked last January. That was so scary because there was nothing there. It is so exciting to hear that it is booking up and it is exciting to watch it get built. I drive by occasionally too and try to catch a glimpse. Occasionally the security guard for the Hamlet tells me I have to leave I can't wait! What is going on with the chocolate fountain? That sounds really neat.
Here is all of us so far (at least everyone who posted on this board)!! Did I miss anyone? I can't wait until we can see it open!!

Yay, I am so excited our group has grown so much!!!
FH and I actually drove by last weekend (my aunt lives really close to it so we pass it a lot) and it looked great! I spoke to Barbara briefly in email and she said they are planning on moving in in Feb! can't wait!!!! It is going ot be so new and beautiful
