We're checking them out on Thursday. We are tossed up between John Anthony's and the Riviera (leaning more toward JA's), however have been told to check out The Harbor Club in Huntington. Any comments? Opinions? Information? Thanks

Well, I just got married at the Harbor Club (7/4) so I am really biased, but they are WONDERFUL!!! Maureen, the banquet manager, is awesome. They were helpful when I really didn't know who to turn to with questions that really didn't have anything to do with the catering hall. They were very accomodating. The food was awesome. The wait staff was terrific. My MOH said that if she ever gets married, she's having her reception at the Harbor Club. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They even dealt with one of my out of control vendors on the wedding day!

The Harbor Club is great! Actually, they were our first choice, but out of our budget (we are buying a house and trying to save ). Maureen is very knowledgeable and helpful. You won't have ANY problems!! Good luck!

We're checking out the Harbor Club on Thursday. Wanted to know what the main differences were between that & John Anthony's.
Were the prices comparable to John Anthony's? Might I ask what they quoted you at (time of year, etc.)
How many rooms are there? How many weddings?
I have heard that the parking lot is between the water, is it bad? Do you look out your windows & just see cars? Thanks so much!

just wanted to say i have never been to the harbor club but i did book John Anthonys for my wedding
we looked at the harbor club, but decided against it since the property was so small...
the parking lot is next to the building...both are right on the water...It shouldn't be seen that much

MAUREEN IS THE BEST!!!! I am getting married at the Harbor club this January, and they have been nothing short of saintly.
The food is great, the service is top notch & they are immaculately clean (something I worry about.)
