Any Harry Potter fans out there?

my directors wife is bringing me in butter beer tonight (at the studio) (I hope)


she somehow managed to duplicate the recipe when they had it down at universal when they went for the dance competition.

- When we get the chance, I will make you butter beer. I duplicated the taste almost exactly for .

- YAYYYYYYYYYY... I was so jealous when I saw that was drinking it.. what does it taste like? its just like soda right?

- No...It is sweeter and smoother. Really I will make one for you at the studio. What day do you teach and when?

-thursday.. classes at 5:30 & 7:30. I usually get there early though.
- I have a class at 6:30 and then a 9. I'll figure out something. See you Thurs.

bring it in before your class.. I'm free at 6:30. I'll down it then = )

- No drinking on the job!

- is it actual beer?? I thought it was just like a drink....

- Of course it's real beer. Universal Studios always serves alcohol to minors!

Kinda. FH and I went to the park on the opening weekend because it opened on my birthday!!! The frozen butterbeer was WAY WAY better than the regular one. YUM. Want some now.

it was pretty good, kinda heavy though...
she said it was butterscotch
cream soda
sugar
and something else, I can't remember... but she did say you could add icecream.

I am going to Universal for my family-honeymoon. Now I have to get one!!

No alcohol? Lame.

I kid! That's pretty awesome!! I'm a nerd for stuff like this. I still want to try True Blood.

Nooooo they actually make a drink. It's a fruity carbonated beverage. My co-worker and I are considering splitting a 6-pack.

i googled around about butterbeer last night.

seems like almost all of the recipes were cream soda with butterscotch syrup..lots mixed with brown sugar and condensed milk.

YIKES.

calorie fest.

ill pass for now.

save that sort of splurge for when i'm pregnant and looking to get fat.

honestly, I took about 5 sips and dumped it out... I wasn't feeling good and like I said, its HEAVY.. whatever the 3rd ingredient was was heavy.

it was probably condensed milk.

its like a step away from frosting lol.

nope, cause i wouldn't have drank it if it had milk in it.
