I've never been there so I can't help you out with that. But as far as saving money, plan what you want to put aside each week (or what portion of your paycheck) and then stick with it.

Look at Friday night, or Sunday for best prices. Thursday also if that's possible.
Look for places that might have wedding packages which would include dj, photographer, etc.
Sample sales for wedding dresses
Try to limit a guest list if possible.
Low cp's or candles are the cheapest. For bo-k's try to stay with in-season flowers.
set up a joint savings acct that can earn u some interest until the wedding.
Shop around and don't be afraid to negotiate with vendors.

Absolutely re: negotiating. I am the worst at it, but if you don't ask, you won't get - make sure you are getting the best price. Usually they will take that into consideration! Try to pay cash with some vendors, this may help them drop the price. GL!!

I have been there a couple of times, once for a bridal showcase and another time for a 50th birthday. I think it's nice. It all depends on what your'e looking for. I am going to a wedding there in two months. My only concern was that fact that it is a little small but if your'e having a small wedding it would perfect. Go visit it and if you love it then go with it.

My girlfriend had her wedding there and the place is small. But, it worked out for her because she only had 90 ppl. They do offer wedding pkgs so it may work for you depending on what you need.

Welcome and congrats!
If you don't mind heading further out east... I would look at Beach Club Estate, Med Manor, Brentwood Country Club, Thatched Cottage and a few more. Search RH quotes to get some ideas... but these places offer great deals and most with their vendors inc.
Good Luck!

I did not like them at all! The place was run down looking to me and the whole place smelled. Also, it was FREEZING in there because he had the heat off to 'help save money'. Just my opinion!

I live literally live a block a way from Ariana. I don't know how it looks like inside, but it is right on Hempstead Turnpike, next to a Wendy's and and IHOP. Behind Ariana is a huge parking lot, no grounds to take pictures, but I see a lot of people take pictures inside.
I also hear they have good prices, so if you are on a budget it is probably worth checking it out if the items I mentioned above don't turn you off.
