Any hotel recommendations in Mykonos and Santorini?
My FH and I are talking about going to Greece on our honeymoon. Does anyone have any hotels that they recommend in Mykonos and Santorini? We are working with a travel agent, but hearing it from someone who's been there would be helpful.

Mykonos Palace I heard is divine to stay in. I havent looked into Santorini hotels yet. Fh and I will be booking our HM ourselves.

Thats where I remembered the Myk Palace, I thought of you and another bride on here (07), I believe (AMJA) suggested the same place. Is it right in the town, close to it all???

It's actually in PLATIS YALOS beach, but there is a bus right outside of the hotel which will take you into the town for $1.20 euro (about a 5min bus ride)
Otherwise what we did was rented a moped for like 20 euros to ride around the whole island.
I wish i was back there right now ...
If you book your hotel room directly from them, they will offer a free pickup from the airport and ask for room 105 or 106 (we stayed at 106 but we met the people that stayed in 105 and that was even better with a King size bed instead of a queen...

I have not been there yet, but we are going for our honeymoon. We plan to stay at Ikies in Santorini and Mykonos Grand in Mykonos.

We stayed at Santo Mira Mare resort in Santorini. Its on the black sand beach... It isnt in any of the 'main' towns. Its a beautiful hotel with large pools and right on the beach... but the guy who owns this hotel also owns one in Fira which was nice too if you want to stay in the more lively towns... we were in the quiet part of town. .. Great thread! I'm looking into Greece for my HM too. Athens Crete/Santorini/Mykonos I wanted to do with an extension to Istambul. Haven't started booking yet. Thanks for the info

Yes check out the Belvedere Hotel in Mykonos! Its amazing! You can request a brochure from their website.
