I have a 2004 Santa Fe. I love it. The thing cut through the snow like it was nothing all winter! I did not, however, like the fact that they misrepresent their warranties. While they're great, they make it seem like the 100,000 mile warranty is on all cars, but you have to pay a crapload for it.

I bought a 2004 elantra back in september. Got a good deal because I bought it at the end of the year. So far no problems, it drives great.

We bought a new Sonota last year w/ leather interior, and I must say, it is very nice, and rides very well too. Our other car is a Buick Roundevouz, so we have a 'high-end' and 'low-end' vehicles and the Sonata has more 'pickup' than the Buick, and we have had ZERO problems w/ it .....

My husband has a 2003 Accent and he loves it! It was super-cheap, which is why we got it.
He's put almost 50,000 miles on it since he bought it two years ago and has never had a problem with it.

Yeah, the main reason I am thinking the jetta is good over the hyundai is because I know I'm going to be looking to rade in the hyundai (for a jetta) after the wedidng. So I figure, why not cut to the chase. Or maybe I can get a lease deal on a hyundai, then when the lease is up I'll buy the jetta
VWs stink!!!! I have a Golf and its absolitely horrible!!!! And I have heard that the Jetta is worse...sorry to hijack the post.
My mom has a Sante Fe and loves it...no major problems
