I'm off today and get to spend the day with DH. I can't think of anything good to do though. Any ideas? (NO shopping...lol)
I was thinking of taking him to Village Restoration (he's never been there), but I'd rather go when they have the Irish music weeks. I think he's get a kick out of it.

I heard that there are seals off of the fishing pier at Jones Beach. DH and I are going to see them with my mother today. A friend went on Friday and saw them.
omg, do you know how much i have been hankering to see some seals??? we even went to westhampton beach and other beaches looking. we mnight have to go to jones beach. thanks for the info!

okay, went to the piers off of field 10 and saw the signs for seal watching and saw NOTHING!!! we also forgot the binoculars, bleh, but when we came home, fmil was so excited b/c she was watching news 12 and they had a segment on it and she jotted down a phone number that i don't have in front of me, but i guess they do exist. to fh and me, seals are like the lochness monster...we keep looking but see nothing.

Us too! We followed the signs, walked all the way down, and nothing!!!! There were a few splashes in the water, but certainly not any seals!!! Very disappointing!
