any ideas on how to replicate?

I signed up for a 'farm' page swap...since I thought I could use pics from my MILs ranch in AZ...but I have a feeling I am going to get hoe down style...so I want to make sure that mine are ranch style...

anyone have an idea of how to make the horses? doe you think its a stencil or free style drawing...
