Any ideas on when to use

these songs in the ceremony (Catholic Church) or reception?

Con Te Partiro-Andrea Boccelli
You Raise Me Up-Josh Grobin

I wanted to use 'You Raise Me Up' as our song, but I felt it was a little too religeous, and when I hear it I think of Jesus and God and such (sorry). But not sure what part of the ceremony it could be used.

Thanks!
-Jill

If you are lighting a untity candle, it would be a good time for one of the songs. Just an idea!

Re: Any ideas on when to use

OK, I thoguht of using these way before I was even engaged. Con Te Partiro is a definite as we were engaged in Rome... I am planning to wal down the aisle to it. I don't love any of the traditional songs for me, I want o be a bit different and I think Con Te Partiro is more dramatic than the traditional songs that people have hear over and over again.

If you are getting married in a Catholic Church they might limit you to your music options depending upon the Church and musicians, especially if you must use their house organist. JUst check this before you get your heart set on it.

Re: Any ideas on when to use

I wanted to use 'You raise me up' during the candle lighting or during the Preperation of Gifts.
