Re: any info on these hall???
My FH's cousin was just at a wedding at the Riviera. It's nice, but she said the food wasn't so great. I heard it's pretty reasonable. Probably less than $100. It all depends on what your taste is though. We looked at a bunch of places and didn't love any of them. We picked Jericho Terrace, and that was the only place my FH said he could see himself marrying me.

FH & I went to see the Riviera - it is very nice, the view is beautiful. I didn't like the cocktail room set-up, but if you were to have a CH outside it is beautiful. We were quoted $85 pp for a Sat night in November. HTH!

Don't mean to insult anyone who is having their wedding at Ariana Waterfalls...but I drive by it every day going to and from work and it's not the prettiest looking place. I believe they offer inexpensive packages so if your looking for an inexpensive venue this may be your place, but if your looking for your guests to have the 'wow' factor when they drive up to the place, I don't think you'll find it with this place.
It's also on Hempstead Tpke, which is very busy and literally in between an IHOP and Wendy's.

The food at the Riveria is not that good. I think my friend paid $72.00 pp on a sunday evening in Sept 05'.

I was quoted $110 for a Saturday night in September at the Riviera. Price goes down to $85 for a saturday evening in October. Price is also lower for a daytime, friday night or sunday wedding. I think the food is great. And they recently renovated their CH room.

I went to the Swan Club to look, I don't remember the exact price but I think it was around $70 pp. The place was nice but I have heard the food isn't the greatest

Re: any info on these hall???
Rivera is nice however it is very small pending on how many people you were having....Agreed the cocktail set up stunk and you can see right into the reception hall dining room....The Waterfall place....No offense to any one...Sometimes you see prices that are great however you get what you pay for with that place as well as Riveria.
To get the best bang for your buck really look and search places they may be more money however you can get alot more out of it....I thought i was only going to spend like 75 -80 per person but that is soo not reasonable any more in these days however you can find somthing in that range but don't forget tax and graduitity....If you need help Amanda -- Let me know!

Re: any info on these hall???
I agree about Ariana Waterfall. I actually visited the site earlier this week. The positives are that they're the only place I know of who offer packages that include photography/videography/limo/DJ, etc, and they seem super organized and customer-oriented. Oh, and there's lots of parking at the facility, and a hotel across the street for out-of-town guests.
I was really let down by the atmosphere though. The website makes it look so glamorous, but the only 'waterfall' I saw was a dingy little fountain outside. It was also a lot smaller than I expected--I think it is a converted motel lobby. And there's no way I want White Castle as a backdrop for my photos!
