Any info/past experience at Thatched Cottage

Hello girls,
Any info on or past experience at Thatched Cottage?
We went there today I loved the place and they have a very nice smaller room to fit our wedding (which is going to be for about 80 ppl).
The only thing is we're going to be the second wedding and the place looks pretty small. Any experience with that? Did the ceremonies/ cocktail hours interfere?

Any thoughts will be welcome

We loved The Thatched Cottage...it was the 2nd RH we looked at....we saw a few others and then ended up back there. It's very unique and the newly renovated cocktail hour room and outside areas are beautiful!

As for the 'one wedding at a time', we were told that they sometimes have 2 events going on but, given our guest list of ~200 they wouldn't have another event booked in the smaller room. We're having a Sunday evening 6:30-11:30.

I have heard some mixed opinions on they're food and service but, lately I've only been hearing really good things. I am happy we chose them.

I was also told that there could be abother event but not another wedding at the same time. that is one of the main reasons we chose the Thatched! I really hope that there won't be two weddings....

Im getting married there on a friday night and we have 100 people attending and I was told that we would be the only wedding. I actually made them write it on the contract No worries, i think they tell everyone something different but as long as you come to an agreement with them, your good to go. Whatever you do, write it in the contract before you sign
