OMG you will find a LOT of that on these boards - i think many brides have had the same experience!
however, dont let that stop you! book your vendors NOW and get the 2006 prices!! i plan on having all of my vendors booked in 2006!
the only thing that has been bad is the bridal salons - they tell me i am too early. . . i think they are just pissed bc they know they cant pressure me into a sale. . . .
you should enjoy your planning! and do not let vendors stop you from booking! trust me there are PLENTY out there that will let you book!
I already got a DJ - i am currently looking for a photographer. . .and I have been dress shopping in three salons. . .
try to enjoy yourself and if you need any advice there a billion brides on here - and everyone is SO HELPFUL!

Really??? Im gettin married may 08 and everyone is sayin its good your lookin early...get the 06 prices and exactly wat u want...good luck

Absolutely...although it is true that it is early...booking in 06 locks in the 06 prices for 08. I have had a lot of people be like 'you're getting married in 2 years...you have plenty of time'. But there were a few reception places that I called and were already booked for my date. Don't listen to people...start planning and book early!!

JT Brides...we were in the dome room on Saturday for a wedding. You guys have nothing to worry about. he cocktail hour was AMAZING!! It is such a big room and I loved the fact that there was plenty of seating for everyone. The food was great!! You guys made a great choice. We are going back next week (hopefully to book). FM me if you want any specifics!!

My cousin had a wedding there in the 90's. It was lovely. The ffod was excellent. She said that she had no problems. I loved them so much as a guest, Im looking into them too.
