I am, We get our yarmulkes from the temple we are having our reception at. I comes with the package!!

Me too!! Finance is Irish Catholic. Having an Interfaith ceremony....complete with a Claddah unity candle from Ireland, chuppah, glass breaking. The whole 9 yards. Rabbi is busting my hump about the ketubah though and I have my heart set on one

What is he busting your hump about? Mine encouraged it. They have interfaith text ones available. Is he not allowing it?

We're interfaith - and having the whole thing - including the ketubah, if FH ever decides on one

We are definately having a Ketubah. After my FI read the wording on a few of the Interfaith versions, he thought it was such a wonderful document/tradition.

I don't know. He got all bent out of shape saying that the wording I faxed him calls for my fiances hebrew name and since he doesn't have one, he will not sign it. I have to do some research on different wordings and fax it to him.

What happened was, it had hebrew on the top and it said Groom (in hebrew) and then left a blank space and the rabbi thinks only a hebrew name can be placed there. It is ridiculous!! Just another annoying thing I shouldn't have to worry about!!

If you see any sample interfaith Ketubah texts without hebrew, please pass them along.

Just wanted to let you know that the rabbi agreed to sign the Ketubah. He will fill in our Engligh names where he thinks it is asking for our Hebrew names. Whatever. As long as he signs it!!
