Hey there! Welcome to the boards
I'm June 13th!!
I just ordered my dress last week!! I'm so excited because all the bridal salons were starting to scare me with - 'You know it can take over 8 months to come in. You need to do it SOON.'
We're getting ready to order bridesmaid dresses soon. We have the hall and everything is included so I have food, photo, video, invitations, DJ, flowers & limo. We'll be going in probably in a month or so to start and nail down exact details. We have one of our favors basically done except for labels, and we're also making CDs - we've already bought the blanks and the cases but haven't made a concrete decision on songs yet.
How about you? How far along are you?

Same goes here for June 21, 2003. I am actually on my 2nd fitting of my wedding dress. But thats bull**** about ordering your dress. They can actually get your dress in by 4months. Who did you use as your vendors? Just curious. Good luck on planning..

I'm 6/21 also, I'm almost done with everything.
My dress came in already, I got it at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I go for my fittings starting in March. I have Verdi for Photography. Wild Rose for video. Spin around Sound for music and Kimjon for flowers. I get to take a break for a while until all the last minute things come up.

I'm June 20th and we have almost everything major done.....hall, officant, photographer, DJ, ceremony music, makeup and I'm booking the florist this weekend.

June 8, 2003 for me. I have booked the hall, photo, video, DJ, limo, dress, officiant, blocked hotels, flowers. I think that I will have my bridesmaids pick their own dresses in red. My sister did the same for her wedding in lavender and it looked very nice. I plan to pick my invites soon, I already have a friend to do calligraphy. I have no idea about favors yet. I have my engagement photo shoot on thursday(weather permitting), and a make-up trial next week. I still need veil and headpiece, no clue about that yet either.

She's a doll....we were both really comfortable with her and I loved her ceremony. Just reading about the rose presentation almost made me cry lol.

June Brides unite!

I am June 21st also! I am so happy that we just ordered BM dresses last week before I left to go out of town for awhile. I think next on our list is invitations. I have the dress , florist-Burtons, limos- All Star, hotels blocked, reception site-Crescent Beach Club, church- St. Rose in Massapequa, Band- Times Square Orchestra, Photo/Video- Peter Oberc. And at least ideas for favors, etc.We are also working on a website for out of town guests and just getting that started.

Is it me or is the time flying? I feel like it was so far away, but once the holidays are over it will be here before we know it!

By the way, drjenn10- I did the same thing you are thinking of for BM dresses- they all choose their own from the same designer's line in the same color. And they were all thrilled, which made it a fun, stress-free event in general!

Just a suggetsion, but htey are wonderful with headpieces and veils. BettyWales in Oceanside. they are manufacturers but are opne to pubic. You can meet with them ask for Norm. Go on thier website BETTYWALES.COM.

They have a wide range of headpieces any style your heart desires. Check them out if you chose.

Thanks wacky, I bought my dress at Burton's and they include the headpiece for free so I will start there and look elsewhere if necessary. Problem is I do not know what I want to do with my hair yet. Also, Oceanside is far for me, I live in Hauppauge.

Another June 21st Bride!!!

I have my band, place getting married, photographer, videographer, band, ordered my dress, last week ordered bridesmaids, blocked hotel rooms for out of town guest, and booked honeymoon. After the new year I'm going to start to look at invitation and look for a veil and headpiece!!!

Wow there are alot of June 21st brides....one day after me : ). You guys are the longest day of the year so it should stay nice and light out for all those pictures. 6/21/03: I'm using Verdi also. I just loved thier pictures. They were so beautiful. Have any of you thought about flowers yet? or Invitations?

June 21 is the longest day of th year. My ceremony won't be starting until 9:45. Invitations call fro 9:30 and my wedding goes until 4am.

I am using roses for my wedding all different colors!

I looking for invitations in january.

I'm getting married at a temple. So, in the jewish religion you can begin a ceremony on a saturday night until the sun has set and the sabbath is over.
