Any know about the Port Jeff Ferry

Is it really jammed in the mornings ? How busy is their M-F rush hour to Bridgeport ?

I haven't taken the ferry during rush hour in a few years but when I did I know I had to make reservations and it was pretty packed every day.

I dont know whats worse the Triboro traffic or the ferry! I wanna fly !

I just took it the other day (not during rush hour). It was nice.

If you can get a reservation I would definately take the ferry. Its so much better sitting on that for an hour and a half then sitting in Triboro traffic.

I wouldn't take it if the weather is bad though. Hubby and I took it in the middle of a bad rainstorm and all I can say is I am glad that I hadn't eaten breakfast!!! Oh boy did that thing rock! It was so bad that I waited til just before we docked to even use the bathroom. It is probably fine on a better day.
