The food is outstanding!!! My sister got married there in 2000. They gave her 10.00 off a head bc it was Friday the 13th and my BIL milked it by saying they were iffy about the date... it worked for them.

I am getting married there July 6. Got a discount b/c it was a Sunday and we guaranteed 200 ppl. Still really expensive though, unfortunately. I was worried about not doing a tasting beforehand but I'd heard such rave reviews that I thew caution to the wind and booked anyway. Our tasting is now next month.

Good luck!!

We're getting married there March 28. Less than 2 months now!

The food is absolutely outrageous! We had our tasting in September. Don't worry - you will not be dissapointed.

We have had no problems working with them either. We were able to negotiate price some because its a Friday during the off season.

There are some brides on here that have had their weddings there and have been very happy with them.

I had my wedding there - it was beyond amazing. Everything we dreamed it would be. We knew it was the place as soon as we saw it.

The food is incredible. I'm glad we ate so much at the tasting because I didn't eat much at the wedding.

We were able to negotiate a little because we were on the outskirts of the busy season (April 27). We had a Saturday night with 185 guarantee for $120pp (in 2002).

Hope this helps!

I'm getting married at Land's End on June 7, 2003. We are having a Saturday afternoon reception and are paying $120 pp. If you guarantee above the minimum number of guests, the price will go down. I absolutely fell in love with Land's End after seeing approximately 10 other places. I knew right away this was the place for my wedding. We went to our food tasting this past Saturday night and the food was unbelievable!!! I can't wait till the wedding!!!

thank you for the help. i had no doubt that the food would be outragous. we spoke with gina and becasue it was a holiday and peak she said there was no way she could negotiate the price. i love the place, so everyone cross their fingers that FIL's can afford it!!!

I looked there last week with my sister, and we were told that if she left a deposit she could have a tasting before she booked. I had the same deal at Flowerfield.

Re: any lands end brides?

I got married this past July there...and it was everything I could have wanted...

The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD...there is nothing to worry about...and not one guest will go home anything less but stuffed...even the cake is scrumptious

I tried to negotiate....I even tried the 'please, I'm a teacher and can only get married in the summers'...no luck...

I even found out 6 weeks before that my cousin and the manager used to work together...I thought maybe I could get Johnnie Walker Blue wholesale...NOPE...

their MO is that they know they will book in the peak times...they don't have to lower...(except if you exceed the min)

good luck...

you will not be unhappy...
