Any literacy teachers

I'm taking the Literacy CST tomorrow I'm so scared. Has anyone taken it? Was it hard, I'm mainly nervous about the essay part.

FH is taking it too.

There's a study guide on the NYSTCE site - I printed it for him a couple weeks ago!!! Good Luck!!!

Taking it at Oldfield? or in Nassau?

Actually I'm taking it upstate bc I live up here now. I did get that study guide online just wish there were more sample questions. Good luck to FH!!

When I did the CST in pk-6 , it was a lot of q's but I got through it fine. The essay was very similar to the one in the study guide. Id say just write lots and use all that great 'literacy' knowledge that you must have!! You'll be happy when it's done!! Best of luck!
