Any nail biters out there???

Me too!!! And I'm even worse because not only do I bite my nails, I bite every pen in sight!!!

I just bought Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps. (blue bottle). It worked for me before, so I'm hoping it will work again, because every time I get tips on my nails, they get weak. I just finally grew out my nails from the last set of tips I had done!!

what exactly is this?? just a nail poilish that makes your nails strong?? I need to try something! I would be happy if my nails looked like the pic Goldi posted in Deb's thread...

Yes, it gets your nails strong, You can get it in any pharmacy for about $5. The Sally Hansen Diamond Strength (silver bottle) works really good as well.

I noticed I am less inclined to bite my nails if they're done. Mine always get to a certain length and then crack.

Also I'm starting to take hair, skin and nails vitamins. That helps as well!!

It's funny b/c I just stopped..after 28 years and being engaged for 7 months! I've always had tips/wraps on my nails,until now.I've been using Sally Hansen 'Hard as nails' almost everyday for about 2-3 months now, and it's really helped!
I guess I still have that nervous habit though, b/c now I look to pick my cuticles

i have never in my life had a manicure before... except when i got fake tips put on for the prom...

im embarrased to go with such short, bitten nails, i feel like they probably couldnt even do anything with me!!

don't get tips!!! it doesn't help the problem and just makes your nails weaker.

I used this thing called stop bite or something and its nail polish that has a horrible taste so you wouldnt bite your nails, it worked for me, although sometimes the taste got on something i was eating, like cheese.

I know someone who actually bites their nails and they do the nail polish thing to stop. They actually will put black nail polish on sometimes because it tastes the worst.

it makes the skin smooth and you're less likely to pick.

its sooo hard NOT TOOo.....


I play the piano and i cant do ANYTHING musical with long finger nails!!!

I pick at my nails/fingers..right now I have ugly bloody, beat up fingers...I look like a 12 year old boy
