Not at all. We just picked a date 2 weeks ago. Now we are working on the church and deciding on what to do about an engagement party. Once we get those two done we are hoping to move to the hall. How about you? Any ideas?

We're having an engagement dinner with our families in February. As for a big one with friends, probably in the spring. We're looking for halls and we're going to try and set up appointments in January and February.

I am hoping to online look end of jan/feb. We are both in education so I am hoping feb break we can go look at some places. Good luck in your search!

Hi all! Newly engaged, and a little overwhelmed with the obligatory: 'SO when's the date?!' LOL, tentatively set for Oct 26th 2013, which seems to be a popular date all around now! Sooo excited to start the (slow) uphill of planning, and I look forward to chatting with you all. Happy 2011! ;D

I just got engaged in december and we are planning a February 2013 wedding. I started going to showcases and expos to start brainstorming my visions, plenty of time, stress free---but i can not believe how many people are booked for 2013 already!

My FI and I are set on oct of 2013, we havent started looking at RH yet but i want to start looking this summer. the FI thinks its to soon but i dont, so i was glad to see I had some 2013 brides on here with me

I thought it was too soon too! i started going to expos and showcases with my girls, just for fun and ideas, but i was shocked how far in advance people started booking. You can never be too prepared i suppose!

FH and I got engaged in November and did not do anything till Jan. A lot of people book early to get better prices. You also then have longer to pay. Were hoping to book by March so we have 2 years to pay.
