Re: any new 2013ers
I went to a few halls this weekend. I was told by one manager that they have bookings into summer 2013. I panicked and quickly called my top choice places to make appointments for hall tours. Wellllllll that worked out and I fell in love at SC. I'm going to try to book this week!

Re: any new 2013ers
That's what i keep telling him, this May we will be engaged for 2 years and have been together for 7 1/2 years and i'm ready to get this show on the road... we dont live together so not only do we have to save for a wedding but also a place... and I dont want to be stressed, I realized i posted the same thing twice earlier in the week, I'm still trying to figure out this posting thing

Re: any new 2013ers
LOL you will catch on! Same with us too. We are supposed to be closing on a house on february 24 (which happens to be our anniversary AND the date we are planning for our wedding), so price is a huge factor. SC price sounds high, but for what we are getting, i can not complain at all! im going to sit down with my BM and try to negotiate price a little. Worst thing that happens is they say no. (FH will still book it though. After seeing me cry talking about the hall he cant say no to me anymore)
I know its a lot happening at one time, but dont lose sight of what you really want in the end!

Re: any new 2013ers
Hi Girls,
I got engaged on Dec. 17th I cannot say that I am a 2013 bride, since FH and I would really like our date to be in 10/2012. However, I feel like I am in the same point in the planning process as you all so this forum might be better for me
We booked our engagement party for April 9th, at Chateau La Mer and are super excited. That first step made me feel like it was official!
As for RH, I have a few that I would like to look at (Lands End, Borne Mansion, Venetian Yacht Club). Will keep you posted!

Welcome and Congrats on getting engaged. I bounce from 2012 and here. Looked at Venetian a couple of weeks ago and we love it. Not sure what there pricing is for Oct but I have March Sat nigh and May fri night prices if you want an idea. They are also doing/finishing a bunch of things: new menu, new carpet, uplighting and painting on the walls.

I spoke with Guilio and got a price for Sat Night in October, which was quite reasonable. My only concern would be that there is the possibility of there being another wedding at the same time.
