Celebrating our engagement anniversary today! LOL ONE YEAR AGO TODAY!! WOOHOO!!

Anyway--ventured out yesterday to look for BM dresses for the first time! It was so fun! We went to David's Bridal just so we could pull stuff off the rack and they could try on! My SIL tried on this dress for the heck of it in a cinnamon color and we LOVED IT!! It shouted 'AUTUMN!' which is our theme! It was strapless though, which I am dead-set against! BUT it had a really beautiful wrap that we put around the shoulders and it totally dressed it up! Wasn't sure how dumb it would look with my SIL (MOH) in the cinnamon and then the rest of the girls in like a LATTE/brown color

Anyway-- as far as invites go-I think we will send them out sept 1st-if not sooner--they say @ least 6-8 weeks so knowing me, being miss OCD I will leave more than enough time! LOL

I'm going crazy looking for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses with 3/4 sleeves! Any suggestions?

I cannot believe I am a week away from the 1 year mark! It really does fly!! I am getting sooooooo excited now that it really is getting closer--I know from experience with past weddings how fast this next year will go! We finalized our ceremony location & tomorrow morning we go to the florist to rewrite our contract (we changed some stuff) and to get some autumn ideas:)

1 year to go. This time next year I will be going nuts:) I tried looking in the Almanac but they don't print Nov 2004 until the 2005 book. Yah November 2004 brides!!

WOOHOO!! Less than a year for us! We are getting sooooo excited--it's so real now!! I got my headpiece & veil today!! I posted pics on the BHB!

I am going to do Christmas cards/Save the Date cards---kill 2 birds with one stone!! We don't have a ton of out of towners, but I figured it'd be a cute way to officially remind everyone & announce our wedding day!! Not that they don't all hear about it everyday anyway! (my family is EXTREMELY close) haha

NOV 2004 brides we are almost there--how fast did it go?!! And the weather will be beautiful for us! I am so mad the Farmer's Almanac goes up to like 10/30 or something and then it stops!! I think it might be because of daylight savings--who knows!! anyway--i'm so excited for all of us!!

I am getting married November 12, 2004. I am planning on sending out the save the date cards with the christmas cards also. There is a website called favorlady.com that has very nice save the date magnets. Is anyone getting married on a Friday night? My fiance and I are, But now we are concerned that people won't be able to get off work. Did anyone get the bridemaids dresses yet?

I guess I will send the save the dates out in January when everyone get's there new calendars for the year.

Kristen111204- We are getting married on a Friday night that's why we feel that the save the dates are so important. I also picked out the bridesmaid dresses already and my sister already was measured. Two other girls are going this week.

Good Luck everyone. Soon we won't have to say we are getting married next November. We can just say we are getting married in November. Yahhh
