Any of you have Roomba?

We just got a Roomba, and it is AWESOME, but it seems to get stuck A LOT. It doesn't like one of our area rugs and it also gets obsessed with this area where there is a drop in the floor (like the floor has steps down to a lower level). It just circles around there and then starts beeping for help!!!! Is there a way to stop this?!

my parents had one - it was awesome, the dogs were so confused by it - they didn't like it i wanna get one now that i have wood floors in my apartment.....

OMG we just got it on Sunday and you should've seen my dogs on the first day. THey got in attack position and crouched behind it, and then roomba turned around and went towards them and they ran away and hid!! Now they just think its annoying!

We got one like 6 yrs ago from Hammacher Schlemmer - it was AWFUL. My mom threw it down the stairs. lol.

I've got one and I love it. It does get stuck under the bed sometimes, but I have it one when I'm around doing other things. You have to empty the canister once in a while anyway. I'd rather get it unstuck once in a while than vacuum by myself!!

I totally agree. I've only had it 5 days and I'm in love. We have all hardwood floors and 2 pugs, so before I had it I literally had to sweep AND vacuum every day. I don't mind getting it unstuck, but it does have a feature where I can program it to go on while I'm not home. I guess I can't do that though, since it goes retarded in some areas, lol.
