Agggggggggggh teh joys of planning the wedding. Money going out of places you never knew you had. Anyone else experiencing this sensation. Normally if someone said to spend 20K I'd say, I dont have that kind of $$$ but somehow we are paying for stuff. How are you ladies holding up?

We are doing 2 weddings essentially (destination and reception at home) and our budget is seriously waning as we book everything. Some things are turning out a lil more expensive than planned, so we have to make some choices now on things... ah, sacrifice!

i hear yah! last night we sat down and added it all up.....$50, 000! that is twice my yearly salary..me and FH just save every penny...thankfully we have reliable jobs! hopefully we can do the same after the wedding!
i never knew we could have this much $$

Isnt that a big GASP. We got lucky because we are only having 100 people. And our honeymoon is partially paid for since we only have to pay airfare. His parents are contributing money and mine are as well. So everything is working out great but still all that $$$$$$......FOR THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE...worth every penny.

It is freaking scary--I am really cutting back now on things that I believe guests won't notice.

We are feeling it too! As the wedding gets closer everyone wants their $$$. The financial part of it is killing me. I am just stressing that we will not have what we will need by the wedding. I know it all works out in the end.....this is what I keep telling myself.

money stinks
we were gonna have a destination wedding but the price for guest was big $$$....
so in order for everyone to come, we decided to stay here. my dad contribute a lot and with out, this day would not be possible. What is good about this is, not that nothing is wrong with cheap vendors, but he told us don't try to get cheap doing tihs.. get what you want
