Any one else have 2 older sisters?

I have two older sisters - both of them were each others Maid of Honors at each others weddings and I was a bridesmaid. I asked one sister to be my Matron of Honor (I hate using the word matron! lol) and the other to be a bridesmaid . Anyone else have 2 older sisters?!

i do! one is my matron of honor and the other is actually not in the bridal party at all.

I was the maid of honor in my sister's wedding last year, so I definitely wanted to have her as my matron of honor for my wedding.

The other sister, my oldest sister, is just doing a reading and isn't in my party. She is 33, not dating anyone, and has no plans of ever getting married. So, she told my other sister that she did not want to be in her bridal party because she 'wants to wear her own dress and do her own thing without having to adhere to a schedule on the wedding day'.... she also felt that it was a waste of her money when she will never get married and will never get any of it in return..so when i got engaged i decided to have her do a reading and not argue with her about being in the bridal party because it was just not worth it. It is really weird when family asks why my older sister wasn't in either of me or my sister's weddings though

Noway!!! That's so crazy! Very ... honest of her? Lol.
Im close with both of my sisters but just a tiny bit more with one of them. And my other sister is moving to another state so she wont really be able to help out that much with wedding stuff .

yeah my oldest sister is really into herself and will only do nice things if she knows she will get it back in return... which is why me and my other sister say she is still single =p

I'm close to both of them, but definitely closer to the sister who is my matron of honor. I'm sure they will both be fine with what you choose, because either way they will both be doing most of the planning together anyway!

I have two sisters, but one is older and one is younger. I am by far wayyyy closer to my younger sister but I wouldn't want to make my older sister feel bad, so I'm glad me and my sisters made a pact back when we were young that we would all pick our best friends to be the MoH and just have both sisters as bridesmaids lol. Which is exactly what I did! In the end it's great I never had to pick between the two of them, because I'm sure it would have caused drama!

I do! Two much older... both in their forties and already married. I guess because they both were feeling similar about the situation and their relationship with each other---neither of them were in each other's wedding party--and consequently neither was I. They both just had kiddies in their wedding party---very DIFFERENT I KNOW! So now its my turn and everyone including FH thinks its weird that I'm not hell bent on having either of them in mine. But even if I did, I'd have my oldest, because the other one---well she pretty much excluded herself from the family and has only recently begun to make amends with people. Basically I havent spoken to her in over a year, AND I still invited her to the engagement party but she refused to come. So oh well....such is life. I cant stop everything or fake it just because.

I guess thats what we should remember is the most important thing. Being genuine to ourselves and our FH on our day as we begin our new lives together.

I have two younger sisters, so one is my MOH and since the youngest one is only 14, she will be a JBM. I want to treat both of them equally though, so our best man will be escorting both my sisters down the aisle (I have 4 girls and 3 guys). Both my sisters will give a joint toast as well, along with our best man's toast. I think it's only fair, since both of them are equally excited about the wedding and equally helpful.

That is insane! At least she let you know right off the bat rather than having stupid fights all the time once your day gets closer.
