Any one order Hollow-to-Hem?

Hi All,

Have any of you ordered your wedding gown with a custom hollow-to-hem? If so, how was this measurement taken? How did the person measuring you take the fullness of the dress into consideration?

I had it altered hollow to hem but I didnt ask HOW they did it. I just let the professionals do their thing and it came out just fine!

I'm getting hollow-to-hem. When they measured me they told me to bring my slip and my shoes so they can measure me correctly. Hopefully everything will work out!!

Oh definatly have your shoes with you!!
Once all your gear is on, they'll be able to see where the dress needs to hit the floor so they can measure it the right way.

Just make sure that you really walk around in it after they do the hem. My tulle inside was too long and I kept tripping on the inside of my gown all night!! What a pain in the butt.

No one bothered to tell me to walk around in the darn thing first and your just so excited to have it on at the bridal salon that you dont think straight! lol
