I just brought my wedding dress today! Anyway, I will be looking for a veil sooner or later and I need one in ivory. I was hoping to get one with some silver gemstones in it and maybe elbow or fingertip length. Anyway, I can always buy one from some of the stores but they are so much more expensive than they need to be. So, I figured I would see if anyone was selling something like that on here?

go to barons at tri-country flea market. They quoted me $200 less than the bridal salon.

Also, when they show veils in pictures online, a lot of them are coming from the back of the girls head (like out of her bun or something?). I want one that goes over the top of my head and I wasn't sure if they all can do both or if the ones that look like they come out of the back of the head can only be worn that way. Does this make sense? If you get what I'm saying, can you explain :)

I am sure I will want to sell mine after the wedding.(what else would I need it for?) it is ivory fingertip length 2 layers with a detachable blusher. It has silver beading along the entire edge of the top layer. it is very elegant looking. I am sure I will have better pics after the wedding.

That sounds nice. Definitely fm me after your wedding with pics if you still want to sell it then. I have a long time to go and I really don't even need to be looking yet. (This is just a great way to avoid the work I really have to do....) So I can definitely wait until your wedding is over to start looking at veils.

There are a bunch of stores in the city on 38th street between 7th & 8th that have veils. I was there today!

I don't know why, but no one on here is every intersted in selling their veil lol!
I'll sell mine right after 9/21/08!

Barons at Tri-county flea market is worth the trip.
Tell them exactly what you want and they will make it.
They are only open thurs - sat but during xmas time I believe they are open 7 days.
When you are ready, you bring a swatch of your dress and tell him exactly what you want (they have samples there as well) and give them 4-5 weeks to make it.
They also have tons of hair pieces. Much cheaper as well.
Very easy to find. If you want directions FM me. I think it is easier than going to manhattan shopping around.
