I love this show, it always makes me cry. This weekend it was over, they fixed this house for a family that the WIfe has to interpret for her husband who is blind. Their two daughters are going blind and son is deaf. I was a babbling, crying fool!!
After it was done, I couldnt help but cry. Next week they are going to fix a house for a family of 13 living in a 2 bedroom house in Alaska.

I watched last season, but really don't think I will watch this season. It is truly emotionally draining and the fact that I'm emotional already with the upcoming nuptials I don't think I can take anymore. Great show though with one side note. There are many people who have these brand new homes that they find out they cant afford. Why do they need a 4000 sq. ft. home. The size of these homes are ridiculous

I thought the sponsored companies paid the mortgages on the homes if they couldnt afford it?

yeah usually if the people dont own the homes out right already - one of the companies will give them a 'home fund' of THOUSANDS of dollars or just pay the whole mortgage. . .
i dont think they have left anyone with the expense
ETA: LOVE the show - its definitely one of my favorites and always makes me cry!
