Any Opinions on Flowers, DJ and Photographer

I just booked my reception for June 4, 2004 at CrestHollow, I am now ready for other important stuff, I am choosing between

DJ- New York's Ulitimate Entertainment and Entertainment tonight

Photo- Patken, Fine Art and North Shore Studio

Flowers- Flowers by Brian, Pedastals and fleurs de florissma,

Any suggestions on these?

I am meeting with pedastals tonight and flowers by brian next week so I will see how that goes, I read something about someone having a problem with arlene from a past bride so that bothers me a little I want to like who I deal with and share my money with as well. LOL! Thank you all for the help I feel a little better now!

I used Pedestals and my cousin used Brian. Although Brian's ideas were a bit over the top in my mind (which is why I did not use them), when teh day of teh wedding came, everything was exactly how it shoudl have been.
My experience was much worse. My mint julep cups were spray painted votive holders, the girls' flowers had white filler in them (I was very explicit about the colors of the bouquets), and they used all the wrong colors in teh flower runner. In addition, teh centerpeices were not at allthe quality of the sample I had approved. They admitted afterward that they had overbooked the day and they gave me a 20% refund, but I would have preferred to have things the way I envisioned, and not be on the phone with the florist while I was getting my make-up done.
I'd say go with Brian.

WOW really, I am so sorry to hear that, that is horrible for them to have done that, so the flowers by brian came out nice and they didn't have any problems with them?

I used Flowers By Brian and Fine Art (photo and video) for my wedding in October of last year. My brother (who also got married at Crest Hollow) also used them both.

I had a great experience with both of them. Flowers by Brian will do whatever you want and really work with you. You did not have to commit to anything major (like bouquet style) when you book with them. I looked at Pedalstals and totally did not get the feel they were like that and I thought they were a little too pushy for my taste. as far as price, I found these two were similarly priced but for me Brian agve me a little more in my package and even were more flexible.

Fine Art was a pleasure to work with. My photographer was Chuck. I liked him a lot. I posted a ton of my pictures back in November if you want to search. I also posted the link to my pictures earlier this week - search for North Ritz club and my screen name. You can also see my flowers.

I can't really help you with most of your vendors(though I plan on meeting with Entertainment Tonight in the near future & heard a lot of good things about them from one of my employees), but you may want to check out Duet Studios for video & photography. I found through another bride on here, there in Huntington & their work will blow you away. Plus, there price is so good. If you want detail forum mail me.

We are using joanne rempe photography.Get In Tune DJs for or DJ and Video.And ronkonkoma florist for our flowers dosent sound expensive no its not but the women tina does an awesome job.

I went to pedastals and spoke with phil who was really nice and gave me a good price, has anyone used pedastal, I still am going to meet with flowers by brian though, any comments?

I met with Flowers by Brian, Brian I couldnt stand. Went with Stefans in Cedahurst. Neil is awesome

I used Florissima and was very happy. If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask.

I never even met Arlene, but I have heard negative things about her. I worked with Aubert through the whole process and he was great. Very very creative and patient. (I changed my mind about a hundred times!!!)
