I am updating my registry ALL THE TIME...and I love the feeling of satin sheets...has anyone used them?? good/bad? I am thinking of adding them to my registry././

Too slippery! But you can compromise and get the sateen sheets which are actually cotton, very very soft, but not slippery. Just my opinion!

Just make sure you wear satin while on them. Makes it interesting trying to stay on the bed all night!
Hmmm, mayhaps I'll have to invest in a set.

I thought flannel sheets were the ones hat were really hot, did not know that about satin...one of my friends got satin sheets for his bed and LOVES it!

I just remember that when I worked for Victoria's Secret, they told me that since Satin is a sythetic fiber it holds the heat in, whereas silk is a natural fiber and it doesn't. But that was sooo many years ago that I could be wrong. It wouldn't keep me from buying satin sheets!!!

I don't own satin sheets, but I would imagine they don't 'breathe' as easily as cotton or silk.
I have the silk & cotton blend and wouldn't recommend those either. (They get 'pilly'.) Sateen would be the way to go.

Satin sheets are nice to look at, but not to sleep on. They are too hot and very slippery. I did not get any sleep when I had them on my bed because I was fighting to hard not to slide off the bed. Way TOOOO SILPPERY!!!!!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE SATEEN! Satin is a bit too slippery, but sateen is PERFECT!
