My banquet manager is Kristy, she's awesome. My FH and I fell in love with the milleridge when we saw it. Have you started telling people that that's where you are getting married? I get such awesome reactions from people, that the food is delicious. Definitely keep me posted on how you're tasting goes. Have you been to any of their showcases?

I will def. keep you posted on the tasting. I can not wait for it!!! I always get awesomr reactions from pple--Milleridge def. has that special charm we are looking for. We are also doing two ceremonies. One at our Greek Church and a second one at the Milleridge. I am in love with the atrium. Yes I live in Queens, Georgewood is awesome, they gave me an amazing deal and are super friendly and helpful! :)

I'm doing the Viennese hour but my BM told me to me to go to the showcases cause that it the only time you get to try the cake. So considering what she said i dont think they'd have you tasting desserts. But definitely ask. Are you guys going to do grooms-cakes?

I had my tasting already and the food was delicious! I went to the showcase and I thought that although the cakes were pretty, they were kinda bland. Thats why we are doing the viennese. I'd like to go to another showcase to taste the cakes again. Do you know when they are?

I wasn't crazy about the cakes at the showcase i went ot in november either. Hopefully it was just the flavors they had. It seems like they do a showcase every 3-4 months. And the last one was in Feb so it should be coming up soon. Are you guys doing Valet?

im crashing but my wedding is 'almost' in 2011. im getting married there. we are not doing viennesse hour.
if its a common filling for the cake, you can just go to the bake shop and ask to taste the filling. you can also order a cake for a function and test it out that way. its about $20 bucks for the smallest (and its alot of cake). for the plated desserts, im either going to do the ice cream puff or the hot apple crumb one (since its december!)
what's this with Valet?? do they include it now? ive heard this in another post . valet wasnt an option when i booked (and i still dont think i will bother...the parking lot is HUGE).

hot apple crumb sounds delicious! I hoping I get to taste most of the cakes at the showcases and if I'm still not happy I’ll order cakes with fillings I haven't tried. We're doing the Viennese hour in addition but I still want people to enjoy the wedding cake!
They don't have valet but I've you can bring in an outside valet. My BM said that it’s not necessary because of the way they hall is set up in relation to the parking lot but I dunno…. It was something that me and my FH were going back and forth with and I read of few reviews of girls that did it.

FH and I are also waiting on valet. We will see how much money we have left and then decide what to do. I think we were quoted like 600. Thats a lot of money for valet, I think. So, well have to see whats left in the budget then decide.
