Not full sleeves but ten LARGE tattoos... yes, I get a different attitude (Not BAD, just different) after they see me undressed... LOL.

i love sleeves!!! they're so awesome! a couple of friends of mine have quite a few tattoos and when they tried on dresses they got looks but you know what...s c r e w everyone else as long as you feel beautiful that's all that matters

i know this thread is alittle old, but i just saw it so....

when we got married i had none and i had my natural color hair.

i did this purely for my mother. i figured i was getting married in vegas, with an older guy my parents didnt approve of.. i could at least have 'nice' photos to rbing back to mom.

so on our 2nd anniversary we went back and did it the way i REALLY wanted to.......

im hoping to redo the wedding on our ten year anniversary... because my parents are FINALLY coming around, i think by our 10 yr it will be ok to have everyone in the same room and we can have the wedding we never have.

thats some change - im not into the tattoos and hair color - but you look so happy and its nice that you got to do what YOU really wanted!!! but its also nice that you did it the other way for your mom!!

I don't have full sleeves......YET! All of my arm 'real estate' is being saved for certain pieces of art for when I have the $$ to finish them....and with a wedding pending, it's proving kind of difficult. grr.

Ideally, I'd like to get one more piece before the wedding to even out my arms. I have a large piece on my left arm that goes from my shoulder to my elbow and I feel uneven.....is that silly??

Even without full sleeves I get looks from bridal place helper people...my tats are very visible .....also my face is pierced and my ears are stretched (.......having trouble finding wedding earrings......) so I always get the 'Are you covering your tattoo? or 'Are you taking that out for the wedding?' NO...and NO!!! After a while I found it kind of annoying. My entire bridal party is also inked.....some very visible, some not so visible.

me. i have 2 full sleeves, 1 big piece on my shin and the other 2 (bride and groom day of dead skulls with a saying in our rings) on the back of my legs.. i get looks all of the time. regardless if im shopping for wedding stuff or not. its really annoying and rude. beyond rude. i cant go 1 day without someone staring at me or saying something about my tattoos ugh. i kinda wish i didnt get them so i could live a 'normal' life. its sad when it comes down to that.

I don't have sleeves..yet but I do have a very large back peace! My mother is freaking out about how I am going to cover it. I wasn't going to cover it up, but I am her 'only daughter and yada yada yada' so I think for her I am going to get a tattoo cover kit or use derma blend on it for the big day.

oh you have no idea. people touch me all of the time. not only do they touch my arms, they twist them around so they can see the detail. its like um yeah theres a person attached and this person is getting very angry!!! ugggh

I get that. It's annoying. I have elvish tattooed on my leg and people are constantly asking me what it means and to 'turn around' (because it goes all the way around my leg)....and I know it comes with the territory and all but I'm just like...well, if it was ment for you to read it would be in english, bugger off!

But then again, I'm naturally just bothered by people in general so maybe it's just me.

It's funny because I've actually had several people who thought my monroe was a real beauty mark....I found that more hilarious then annoying....I was like, Yes sir, beauty marks are silver, shiney and stick off your face.

Only have one tatoo on ym lower back but I have my ahem... 'lady twins' pierced Soooooo when I was shopping for dresses it was a riot especially because I work in a very conservative environment so dress in business suits almost everyday. There are always older ladies helping you get in and out of the dresses and they try so hard NOT to look you always catch them gawking. I got a few of 'Didn't that HURT?' Me: 'Yep' Them: 'WHY did you do it? Me: 'figured it was a story i could use to scandalize ym future grandchildren.
